Pinworks is Pinward's table editor. This area is for talking about making pinball: layouts, rules, artwork, experiments, and the small discoveries that make a table more fun to play.
Working with a loop ramp in Pinworks. Use the player controls to watch the short clip.
You don't need a finished release to show something. A sketch, a mechanism you're trying to understand, or a small modification is a good starting point. Tell us what you're exploring and whether you're looking for advice, testing, or simply sharing progress.
When sharing a playable table, include:
- Its name and a short description.
- The Pinward/Pinworks version it was made with.
- Controls or instructions that aren't obvious.
- Known rough edges and the feedback you're looking for.
- Credits and clear permission terms for any included artwork, audio, or other assets.
Use a link to your work when appropriate. This forum begins as a place for discussions and sharing; a dedicated table catalog isn't part of the initial setup.
A fuller guide to Pinworks will take shape as we approach release. In the meantime, questions and feedback are welcome: what would you like to make, what would help with getting started, and where could the editor be clearer?
